Panther, Partner, & Study Away Programs
For Panther, Partner, & Study Away Programs, your tuition, housing/program fee, and study abroad administrative fee are all billed through PittPay and the Student Payment Center. This means that Pitt's standard billing policies and dates apply.
For Exchange Programs, your tuition and study abroad administrative fee are all billed through PittPay and the Student Payment Center. This means that Pitt's standard billing policies and dates apply to these charges.
You'll pay housing fees directly to your housing provider overseas. See your program's website for more details.
For Pitt-Recognized Programs, only the study abroad administrative fee is paid through PittPay. The remainder of your charges are paid directly to your program provider.
A Note on Financial Aid
If you are planning to use any form of financial aid (including scholarships, grants, or loans) for expenses that are not billed through PittPay, you need to keep in mind that financial aid is not released until the beginning of the term in which you are studying abroad/away. This may have an impact on how and when you are able to pay for certain expenses. You should speak to your study abroad advisor for more information.
