Greetings! I’m Jason, the International Student Program Manager here at Pitt. My first sojourn abroad was a several month backpacking stint in New Zealand during college, where I picked kiwis, pruned vineyards, and did whatever else I could to keep the journey going. Since then, I’ve visited dozens of countries and have lived and taught full-time at universities in Mexico, China, South Korea, and the United Arab Emirates. As an Applied Linguist, I’m passionate about foreign language acquisition and cross-cultural communication, and am always keen to brainstorm with students about international education opportunities and adventures.
