Plus3 Education

Plus3 is your first chance to study abroad at Pitt. This two-week, three-credit interdisciplinary experience is a partnership between the School of Nursing and Education. Your travels to Birmingham, United Kingdom will give you a firsthand glimpse of comparative education and healthcare through guest lectures, visits to schools and hospitals, Q&A sessions, and academic sessions that provide cultural and political perspective.

Freeman Awards for Study in Asia

The Freeman Awards for Study in Asia are for students studying in the specified Asian countries listed on their website. Gilman-McCain Scholarship

The Gilman-McCain Scholarship is a congressionally funded initiative of the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs at the U.S. Department of State and named after the late senator John S. McCain from Arizona.  It provides awards for child dependents of active duty service members to study or intern abroad on credit-bearing programs.  For a full review of requirements, deadlines and application information, please visit this website.  
 

Pitt in Florence - Summer

Florence is the ideal setting to spend the summer studying in one of the most historic, cultural and beautiful cities in the world. The city is filled with cobblestone streets, open-air markets, unique food experiences, artistic masterpieces, stunning architecture. This program is designed for students of all majors interested in: Italian language, culture, studio arts, art history, psychology, and more.  You will take 2 courses (6 or 7 credits - depending on the courses that you select) on this 6-week long program.  No previous Italian language experience is necessary.
