Intensive Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian in Pittsburgh and Montenegro

This unique program offers students the opportunity to learn Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian at Pitt’s renowned Summer Language Institute in Pittsburgh and abroad in Montenegro. After 6 weeks of language and culture study at Pitt’s Oakland campus, students depart for a 4-week abroad program at the University of Donja Gorica in Podgorica, the capital city of Montenegro.

Kevin Cecil Study Abroad Scholarship

The Kevin Cecil Study Abroad Scholarship through the Disability Resources and Services office provides students financial assistance for a summer study abroad experience.  Kevin Cecil is a University of Pittsburgh alumnus. Cecil is a member of the disability community.  The Kevin Cecil Study Abroad Scholarship aims to empower persons with disabilities to go abroad and offset the cost.  The scholarship committee hopes that the recipient of the scholarship will increase their knowledge, skills, and awareness around disability in an inclusive education experience.

Katz European Summer Program - WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management

WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management is a leading German business school with an exceptional national and international reputation. Founded in 1984 on the initiative of the Koblenz Chamber of Commerce and Industry, WHU has become a model for future-oriented research and teaching in business economics. The WHU network consists of 1,549 students, 54 faculty members, and 200 partner schools.

Fund For Education Abroad Scholarships

"The Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) invests in deserving U.S. undergraduates who are least likely to study abroad." Financial need, demographic factors, and academic plan and preparedness are considered in the application process. Potential applicants who meet eligibility requirements may participate on any international education program that meets their academic objectives. Scholarships range in amounts and can be applied for programs that run for at least 28 days."  

Lakota Perspectives on Environmental Sustainability & Indigenous Rights

Study in the heart of the Pine Ridge Reservation, home of the Oglala Lakota Tribe. On this 2-week, 3-credit program get a feel for its past, present and future. You will learn from local natives about their day-to-day life, culture and work on community-driven service-learning projects. Projects may be related to environmental sustainability, agricultural initiatives, programming on youth and education, cultural learning and indigenous rights. Students of all majors are welcome to apply.

CBA Global Experiences Scholarships

Are you a Pitt Business student who might financially struggle to cover the cost of a program abroad? If so, we highly encourage you to apply for a CBA Global Experiences scholarship through the Pitt Business Global Experiences office. 
 
The College of Business Administration typically offers over $150,000 annually in scholarship funds for study abroad through the generous gifts of many donors. Awards are granted on the basis of high financial need, academic merit, and a focus on providing for underrepresented students in Pitt Business.

Dietrich School London Field Studies

In this rigorous field study, you will travel with a small group of your peers and University faculty and staff to London, England, during the first two weeks of May, where you will access resources unavailable online or in the United States to enrich your independent spring and summer term-long research. Participants enroll for 1—3 credits of directed research in the spring term, during which time they conduct faculty-mentored research on a project of their own design.
